  Advanced Scripts :
BROWSER DETECTION

For various reasons, it may be useful to detect the visitor's browser type and version.

For instance, you may want to have an advanced page for users arriving with version 4 browsers, and a simple page for users arriving with older browsers.

Maybe you want to make a page that sends Netscape to one page and MSIE to another page.

In any case, you will need to have visitors arrive at one page, on which the browser detection takes place.
The page will then automatically load the page the user should be presented with.

Javascript is an ideal tool for this purpose.
